Faith Formation K - 6
Grades K-6 sessions will begin Sunday, Sept 14th from 9:00 am - 10:15 am. Registration for all sessions are Sat, Sept 6th from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Sunday Sept 7th from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. All new and previous students must register during these times. Please contact Ms. Reed if you have any questions.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to Blessed Sacrament's Catholic Faith Formation for grades Kindergarten through Six.
This year we are instituting a change for our Saturday morning Religious education program. In order to strengthen our Church family community, to lessen conflicts with other activities and to encourage attendance at Mass, we have changed our Religious Education program from Saturday mornings to:
SUNDAY MORNINGS from 9:15 – 10:15 AM.
We are hoping the change to Sunday mornings will create a comfortable time-frame for you and your family to attend 10:30 AM Mass. Our structure will look like:
9:15 – 10:15 AM Classes for your children Kindergarten – Grade 6
and
9:15 – 10:15 AM Parent/Guardian adult discussions in the school gym
and
9:15 – 10:15 AM Babysitting offered for ages 3-4 for parents
attending the discussions in the school gym (only)
plus
10:30 AM Mass For all parents and children including Children’s
Liturgy of The Word during Mass (children ages 3-6)
Our goal is to create a family environment surrounded by our Church traditions and teachings.
Our first session will begin on Sunday, September 16, 2007 from 9:15 – 10:15 AM. At this time we strongly encourage you to attend a meeting with Fr. Bradley in our school gym while your children are in session. At this time Father would like to explain our changes and give you an overview of our new structure.
Registration for ALL students – those students new to our program, as well as those students who have attended our program previously. The registration fee for this year remains $25.00 per student or $45.00 per family. As always, if this a burden, please contact us. Enclosed please find a new pink security form. Please bring this completed form with you when you register. We require one form per child.
If our program will be closed due to inclement weather or any other emergency, please stay tuned to WROW (AM) 590, WYJB (FM) 95.5, WFLY (FM) 92.3 or WPTR (FM) 96.3 or watch Channel 9 News for the announcement. We will also post the closing on our new Parish web site:

Our web site should be running by September 2007. Please visit this site and inform your family of all the “happenings” in our Parish. You can find this Faith Formation program when you link onto “Faith Formation K-6”.
It is encouraged that children be enrolled in the first grade as a prerequisite for the second grade - First Eucharist Class. If you are aware of others who may have a child in first grade, please encourage them to enroll their child in our program this year. As you are aware, we also have a comprehensive kindergarten level. Please encourage others to enroll as well.
We offer the "Children's Liturgy of the Word" for all our children ages 3-6. Every Sunday during the 10:30 AM Mass (please note this time change). Before the First Reading these children will follow our catechist (Mrs. Mary Geciwicz) downstairs to our Church basement meeting room for their own age appropriate reading of The Word . Welcome!!!
